What It Means

Growing up in the South, you hear a lot about the old days, about how things used to be, how times were simple and the clock just seemed to move slower. But the thing is for some of us times haven’t changed much at all. The South is full of places that haven’t been touched by times changing and the clock moving faster. Some of us still go by the sunrise and the sunset, not by the hands on a clock. Some of us are still in a plantation state of mind. Some say that’s a lot of hard work, but in this day in time we here like to call it spoiled. Spoiled to the old days, spoiled to the way things used to be. Stuck in the good old days where clock didn’t matter! It might be a hunting camp, maybe your family’s old farm, might even just be a weekend in the country. Hell, it might be just going the long way home from work just to hit an old dirt road. But any time is better than no time in that state of mind. This world might be a little better off if everyone took a little more time to just be…

PLANTATION SPOILED!
